Consulting and advisory for purpose-driven companies
For leading companies that want to put purpose at the center of their strategy and decision-making as a way to solve internal challenges and contribute to humanity’s biggest ones. I rely on solid, recognized frameworks: B Corp standards and Spain’s purpose-driven company legal form (SBIC).

For leading companies with high purpose performance: B Corp standards and their path to certification.

Why B Corp and SBIC?
Purpose-driven companies place value creation for people and the environment at the core of their activity, alongside financial performance. To do so, they explicitly declare a purpose aimed at a specific stakeholder group, adopt higher levels of transparency, and strengthen accountability by expanding governance responsibility to also consider social and environmental performance.
Spain’s legal form Sociedad de Beneficio e Interés Común (SBIC) was introduced through an amendment to the Crea y Crece Law and is the result of the “Purpose-driven Companies” initiative, backed by 30,000+ signatures and the support of hundreds of organizations and public figures. A B Corp, in turn, is a demanding certification scheme that, under the new standards, is evolving into a broader and more rigorous impact management framework.
Both approaches are compatible: a company can be SBIC and B Corp at the same time. When an equivalent legal form exists, B Lab often encourages companies to align their legal structure accordingly. SBIC also align with several aspects of B Lab standards (both previous and new). Combined, both pathways embed purpose into a company’s long-term DNA and governance, while driving and validating high social and environmental performance.
B Corp Consultancy
Three approaches to support in the use of standards and in B Corp certification
Recertification for B Corps: strategy and execution in the process
For B Corps facing a demanding recertification, especially if there's a significant gap with the new standards or a lack of a robust continuous improvement plan, I combine strategy and execution to meet the commitments of the cycle (years 0, 3, and 5) and translate the purpose into a clear action plan.
Urgent executive support for B Corp recertification
For companies that need immediate help with their recertification, with little time to redesign their strategy and less than a year to prepare.
Route to B Corp: strategy for companies that want to become certified
For organizations that want to make the leap to B Corp with rigor and clarity. I begin with a diagnostic assessment of your starting point and design a realistic roadmap to certification, prioritizing purpose and impact levers while maintaining a medium-term vision.

My experience in B Corp and SBIC
For five years, I was responsible for B Corp certification and recertification for over 300 companies in Spain, across approximately 70 sectors, ranging from startups and family businesses to multinationals with revenues of up to €7.4 billion. I worked with the largest B Corps in Spain and participated in the European working group for large companies.
I have experience with highly complex corporate groups, leading the initial stages of the certification process for IBEX 35 companies. I also worked with specific requirements and programs for complex corporate structures, such as the B Movement Builders program and the Same Name Requirement, as well as aspects of scope, eligibility, legal requirements, and brand review for multinational groups. I also guided Spanish subsidiaries of US and European multinationals through the certification process.
I also led the adaptation and implementation of B Lab's new certification and risk management standards in the Spanish market. I have direct experience with B Lab standards from their initial versions up to version 6 (2025), incorporating Impact Business Models, as well as with the new standards that will be applied from 2026 onwards.
I was part of the European working group for the development and implementation of these new standards, as well as the new risk management framework for controversial sectors. In addition, I led several advanced training sessions on certification and standards for approximately 50 sustainability consultants.
Within the SBIC framework, I had the opportunity to co-lead public policy and advocacy initiatives, coordinating efforts with public affairs teams, law firms, and opinion leaders to promote the legal framework for purpose-driven businesses and other stakeholder-oriented governance measures. Over the past few years, I have continuously developed both the advocacy strategy and the improvement of the framework itself: from managing the B Corps advocacy working group and coordinating with key partners, to engaging with the Ministry of Economic Affairs (particularly the Directorate-General for Economic Policy), as well as other relevant ministries and political parties.
This work culminated in the parliamentary approval of the new legal structure for SBIC in the plenary session of Congress. This was followed by consolidation and implementation milestones, such as the drafting of the Code of Good Practices and the technical dissemination of the framework through initiatives like the guide published by the Spanish Association of Property Registrars. In parallel, I co-led initiatives to keep the public debate alive and accelerate business adoption, such as the presentation of the results of “The Future is Being a B Corp” in Congress, the organization of the SBIC Webinar, and institutional meetings at the Congress of Deputies.
There is a connection between my experience with SBIC and B Corp. Both the foundational legal requirement and the focus on purpose and stakeholder governance in the new standards, along with the Impact Business Models of the previous standards, are key to grounding and developing purpose within SBIC. Therefore, my experience with both frameworks is relevant for organizations seeking to rigorously align purpose and action.
